Holding the 17th meeting of the Joint Economic Commission of Iran and Russia in Tehran
The 17th meeting of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission will be held in March this year in Tehran with the presence of the Minister of Oil and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation as the heads of this commission.

According to Energy Press, cooperation between Iran and Russia has developed in recent years with the imposition of US sanctions against the economies of the two countries. Based on this, the joint economic commission was formed with the aim of developing cooperation between Iran and Russia, and so far 16 meetings of the joint commission have been held in the two countries and in order to expand the economic, political, social and cultural relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation in all fields, including energy, financial and banking, science and technology, transportation, agriculture, etc. The 17th meeting of the joint economic commission of the two countries will be held in Tehran this March, hosted by the Ministry of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In this meeting, the experts and specialists of different economic fields of the two countries will examine the solutions for the development of cooperation in the form of 20 working groups, and after solving the existing challenges, they will proceed to the drafting of the memorandum of understanding for the cooperation of the joint economic commission of the two countries.

This document will be signed on the last day of the meeting by Iran’s Oil Minister Javad Oji and Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, who are also the heads of the joint economic commission of the two countries.

The most important axes discussed in this summit in various sectors including the development of commercial and economic cooperation, oil and gas, finance and banking, transportation and logistics, customs, industry and mining, agriculture, water and electricity, science and technology, environment, health and It is health, also after going through the necessary formalities and along with the main document of the meeting, a number of specialized documents will be signed between the authorities of the two countries in various fields including energy, transportation, standards and commercial-industrial and special economic free zones.
