Mohammad Reza Barhamand said on Tuesday: This large shipment of Russian energy was unloaded by the special rail fleet for transporting LPG gas in Sarkhes Special Economic Zone and loaded into special LPG or liquefied gas tankers and transported to the border terminal of Rimdan in Sistan and Baluchistan. and entered Pakistan.

He called the shipment of this large and special energy shipment through Iran a record and said: The shipment of this LPG gas shipment from a Russian government complex and by the private sector transportation activists of our country has been carried out since the beginning of this year and within six months. and now the shipment of this cargo is finished.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone stated: Currently, consultations and discussions have started to conclude a new contract for transporting the second shipment of Russian LPG gas to Pakistan.

The special economic zone of Sarkhs with an area of about 5,200 hectares is divided into manufacturing, chemical, heavy industries, services, warehousing and transportation sectors. they are active.

A total of 126 industrial, production and service units from Iran and the countries of China, Russia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan are operating in the special zone, and last year the said groups invested 90 million dollars in this zone.

Sarkhas Special Economic Zone is located near the zero point on the Iran-Turkmenistan border and 185 km northeast of Mashhad.

The border town of Sarkhes is located 202 kilometers north-east of Mashhad.
