The country’s dams are 46% full
According to the latest statistics on the state of the country's dams, from the beginning of the water year until now, 12 dams have more than 75% of water, and the country's dams are full of 46%.
Currently, the amount of water entering the country’s dams until March 12 is equal to 11 billion and 680 million cubic meters, which has decreased by 12% compared to last year, which was equal to 13 billion and 300 million cubic meters. On this date, the country recorded 10 billion 500 million cubic meters, which represents a 21% increase compared to last year, which was 8 billion 710 million cubic meters.
In the current situation, the volume of water in the reservoirs is recorded at 22 billion and 880 million cubic meters, which is 3% less than last year, and the percentage of the country’s dam reservoirs has reached 46%.
