Iran’s oil exports reached the highest level in the last 6 years
Iran's oil exports have reached their highest level in the last 6 years and despite the unilateral sanctions of the West, it has boosted the country's economy by 35 billion dollars per year.

According to Energy Press, according to the data company Vertexa, in the first three months of this year, Tehran sold an average of 1.560 thousand barrels of oil per day, almost all of which was purchased by China.

This amount is the highest level of Iranian oil sales since 2019.

Iran’s success in exporting crude oil is one of the main reasons that the United States and the European Union are seeking to increase pressure on Tehran after the country’s punitive missile and drone attack on Israel. Washington and the European Union are preparing new sanctions against the Islamic Republic with the aim of dissuading Israel from escalating the conflict with Tehran or taking military revenge.

US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen announced this week that Iran continues to export its oil “openly” and that more preventive measures are being considered to curb Iran’s oil trade.
