Iran’s leader of the revolution’s warning about investing in the oil industry/ increasing production by 40%

Pointing out that the Leader of the Revolution said that the increase in investment in the oil industry should lead to an increase in production growth, the Minister of Oil said: With the increase in investment, nearly 40% has been added to Iran’s oil production.

According to Energy Press, in the recent meeting between the President and members of the government delegation, the leader of the revolution pointed to the significant growth in the production of petrochemical products and emphasized the valuable measures in the field of oil and gas, and considered the opening of the 11th stage of South Pars as an example of growth in this area, which in In the same context, Javad Oji, the Minister of Oil, gave an explanation in an interview with the leadership website.

He said: South Pars phase 11 plan was left on the ground for 20 years. Government to government and contract to contract changed hands and nothing special happened. The last one was the Total contract, which was contracted for 4.8 billion dollars for the entire development of the 11th phase. With the opening of phase 11 of South Pars, which was done a few days ago, we started work with a capacity between 7 and 10 million, and with the increase in the number of wells, we will reach 50 million cubic meters.

The oil minister also said: In the South Pars common field, there are strong international companies on the opposite side of us without any restrictions, and on this side, we are under severe sanctions. But despite all this, our production from the South Pars field is ahead of the neighboring country.
