The vice president of investment and financing of the National Development Fund announced the start of two megaprojects of desalination and transfer of sea water from the Persian Gulf with the financing of the National Development Fund.

According to Energy Press, Reza Mohammadi; The vice president of investment and financing of the National Development Fund stated: The National Development Fund has planned big goals and projects for the development of the infrastructure of the country’s industries and the growing development of Iran. One of these projects is the desalination and transfer of water from the Persian Gulf to the provinces of Fars and Isfahan and from the Oman Sea to the provinces of Sistan-Baluchestan, Razavi and South Khorasan, which is considered one of the country’s mega-projects in the water sector.

He stated that this project was targeted and planned with the aim of sustainable water supply for the use of large and small industries as well as drinking in the country, and reminded: in order to solve the water problems of industries in Fars and Sistan and Baluchistan provinces, Soon, two megaprojects of desalination and transfer of sea water from the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will start operating with financing from the National Development Fund.
