One of the standards is to dedicate 30 to 35 percent of the operating space of the refineries to planting trees and greenery, which we have already exceeded this standard according to the monitoring of the Environmental Protection Organization.

The Deputy Minister of Oil for Refining and Distribution of Petroleum Products emphasized: “Now we have come close to completely preventing gas burning in burners, and there are only one or two refineries left that are running.”

Salari stated: In the field of production, our standard is more than the world standard and even three times. Nearly 115 million liters of gasoline and 20 million cubic meters of compressed natural gas (CNG) are consumed in the country, which seems to be a high number and requires optimization.

He emphasized: It is necessary to take serious action in the field of improving the quality of cars and removing worn out cars. Currently, there are 3.5 million used cars in the country, and when they are removed from the cycle, we will have 40 to 50 million liters of gasoline surplus per day, which can be put in the export basket.
