According to the Energy Press, First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, in a meeting of the Economic Council today (Monday, December 25), criticized the unfair attacks that have been made on the National Accord Government in the name of analysis, stating: “During this period, inflation has grown less than in the past, and this is while at the same time as controlling inflation, we are also paying attention to economic growth, and in all decisions made in the 14th government, the livelihood and life of vulnerable segments of society are considered and care is taken to ensure that they are not harmed.” He added: “Of course, during this period, part of what was implemented was the approvals of previous governments, because the strategy of the National Accord Government is to respect past decisions, and during this period, we carefully monitored so that no unfair criticism was made, especially when the issue of individuals and their personalities was at stake, because we believe that in the absence of people who are not present, they should not be criticized.” We will have to say what the conditions were like in the ministries we took over. The First Vice President, thanking the patience of government officials and ministers who have consciously remained silent during this period, stated: “In the few months since the beginning of the government, even if there was an unfair attack on the government, we did not respond. Our intention is to continue on this path, and this conscious silence of the government and ministers is very welcome. However, if these injustices continue, we will first warn them, but if they continue, then we will be forced to tell the people what the conditions were like in the ministries we took over. We do not want to cause people to worry.” Aref said: While the officials and ministers of this government sometimes work more than 20 hours a day, unfortunately some who have public platforms at their disposal and are expected to give encouragement to the people, act unfairly. They should be asked where they were three months ago, at least be fair.
He stated: The Minister of Energy is one of the hardworking ministers. I see how he worries every night about the electricity imbalance that affects the people and the lack of benefits for the industry. At the best hours of the day, the electricity in the industrial sector was cut off and the lack of benefits was very high.
The First Vice President continued: We are facing an 18,000 megawatt electricity imbalance and we are trying to use the capacity of the country’s elite to regulate the electricity imbalance, but more importantly, the water imbalance is the issue of our day, but we do not want to empty the hearts of the people.
