Water, electricity and gas for households covered by support organizations became free

According to Energy Press report, in the public meeting yesterday evening (Sunday, October 16th) of the Islamic Council, during the review of the details of the Seventh Development Program Bill, with the additional clause (3) of Article 39 of this bill, with 165 votes in favor, 11 votes against and 3 votes. A total of 200 delegates present at the meeting agreed.
According to the additional clause (3) of Article 39 of this bill, the Ministries of Oil and Energy are obliged to modify the water, electricity and gas tariffs of the households covered by the Imam Khomeini (RA) Relief Committee and the country’s welfare organization in such a way that by respecting the geographical regions up to the limit of the consumption pattern It should be equal to zero according to the size of the household (only for water).

Further, the representatives agreed with the additional clause (4) of note 39 with 164 votes in favor, 16 votes against and 2 abstentions from the total of 201 representatives present in the meeting.
