Using petrochemical capacity in the campaign to reduce gas consumption by 10 percent
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the National Petrochemical Industries Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company to use the capacity of this petrochemical company in a campaign to reduce gas and electricity consumption by 10 percent in the domestic and commercial sectors.

According to Energy Press, Hassan Abbaszadeh, CEO of the National Petrochemical Company, and Matin Didari, CEO of Zagros Petrochemical Company, signed this memorandum today (Saturday, January 5) with the aim of managing consumption and promoting a culture of efficient energy consumption.
This memorandum is the first step in line with the implementation of the memorandum of understanding “Cooperation in implementing the campaign to reduce gas and electricity consumption by 10 percent in the domestic-commercial sector” that was signed on December 18 between the National Iranian Gas Company and the National Petrochemical Company. According to this memorandum, the capacity of petrochemical companies will be used to provide the resources needed for the participation of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and investment companies in the campaign to reduce gas and electricity consumption by 10 percent in the cold months of the year, with the aim of promoting a culture of efficient consumption and reforming consumption patterns.
