US launches new round of oil sanctions against Iran

According to Energy Press, the US Treasury Department announced that it has imposed sanctions on dozens of shipping companies, tankers and individuals involved in oil exports from Iran and Russia.
According to the US Treasury, the transportation network that has been sanctioned transports oil and oil products from Iran and Russia to various parts of the world.
The US Treasury Department has sanctioned 115 targets in 17 countries, including 12 individuals, 15 companies, 52 vessels and 53 entities associated with the Iranian oil export chain.
These measures were taken within the framework of the continuation of the US policy of “maximum pressure” and were announced with the aim of reducing Iranian oil revenues and restricting Russian oil activities.
