US announces readiness to implement sanctions against oil production in Iran
US Energy Secretary Chris Wright has announced that the Trump administration is prepared to impose sanctions on Iranian oil production. In an interview with Bloomberg on Monday, Wright said that during Trump’s first term, “Iranian oil exports have been reduced to a very limited level.”

According to Energy Press, the US Secretary of Energy claimed this morning that during the first term of Donald Trump’s presidency, Iranian oil exports had reached a very low level. The Trump administration is ready to impose sanctions on Iranian oil production and the cost of a sharp reduction in Iranian oil exports (in the global market) is affordable.
Wright claimed: Iranian oil exports had reached a low level during the first Trump administration. Biden did not lift sanctions on Iranian oil production, but he did not enforce them and led to the enrichment of the Islamic Republic, which we see the results of with the Houthis, Hezbollah and Hamas.
The high cost of Iranian oil exports can be borne and President Trump seeks to end this chaos and establish peace in the world.
