Unprecedented decline in Tehran’s water resources in the last 60 years
Tehran Province's Water and Sanitation Authority has announced that the droughts of the last five years and the decrease in rainfall in Tehran Province in the current water year, which is unprecedented in the last 60 years, have severely affected Tehran's water resources.
According to Energy Press, according to the Tehran Provincial Water Company, the reserves in the dams supplying Tehran with water are currently at their lowest level in a century. To compensate for the limitations caused by pressure drop, subscribers who do not have a tank and pump and live in multi-story residential complexes are advised to install a tank and then a pump on the ground floor or basement floors.
