Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding between the National Southern Oilfields Company, the MAPNA Group Consortium, and Ghadir Electricity and Energy Holding

On the sidelines of the 29th Tehran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition and in the year of “Investment for Production”, a tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed between the National Southern Oilfields Company and the MAPNA Group Consortium and Ghadir Power and Energy Holding.
The purpose of this memorandum is to study and develop new methods of flue gas injection to increase recovery from the Paranj oil field in Khuzestan.
This measure is an important step towards the intelligent exploitation of power plant exhaust gases and moving towards reducing environmental pollutants, and can lead to improving productivity in the country’s oil and energy value chain.
In this cooperation, Ghadir Power and Energy Holding, as one of the strategic development arms in the energy sector, is responsible for financing the project, participating in technical studies, and planning for the industrial exploitation of power plant exhaust gases.
