This expert in the field of energy stated: Israel now converts a part of the gas extracted from the Gaza Strip into liquefied natural gas (LNG), and of course it should be mentioned that Israel took jurisdiction over the Palestinian Authority in 1995, when the Oslo Accords were concluded. made the decision in Palestinian territorial waters, in 1999 the Palestinian Authority signed a 25-year gas exploration contract with the British gas group, British Gas Company, and in the same year the large Gazamarine gas field was discovered inside Palestinian territorial waters, so it was natural that Israel does not feel good about Palestine gaining new sources of wealth. As a result, he created a distance between the Palestinian territories and the Gaza Strip and turned the Gaza Strip with an area of about 400 km and 2 million people into a big prison, which cannot achieve this wealth unless they come to terms with Israel.
