The strong return of the Bandar Imam VC unit with a daily production record of 515 tons

According to Energy Press, citing Bandar Imam Petrochemical, the company’s VC unit, which was shut down due to a sudden problem, has now resumed its activities with a capacity beyond its previous level, thanks to the round-the-clock efforts of domestic experts and after extensive repair operations.
In this repair operation, which was carried out with the participation of hundreds of experts from different departments of the complex, numerous technical measures were taken, such as the renovation and replacement of 100-ton heavy reactors, the replacement and welding of more than 3,000 inches of pipeline, the repair and reconstruction of towers and heat exchangers, the de-coking of cracking furnaces, advanced inspections and repairs of main equipment.
