The situation of fuel smuggling was placed on the agenda of the Parliament’s Energy Committee
Members of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly will review the situation of petroleum product smuggling this week in the presence of the CEO of the National Petroleum Products Refining and Distribution Company.

According to Energy Press, after the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly raised the issue of 25 to 30 million liters of fuel smuggling and the President raised the question of how 20 million liters of fuel are lost daily, various officials from the First Vice President to members of parliament have addressed the issue of fuel smuggling.
The Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly has a review of the issue of fuel smuggling on its agenda this week (Tuesday).
Therefore, the representatives will hold a meeting on Tuesday to review the situation of oil product smuggling with the presence of the CEO of the National Petroleum Products Refining and Distribution Company, relevant officials in the Headquarters for Combating Smuggling of Goods and Currency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and security agencies.
