The contract was placed on the agenda and now the basic engineering works have been completed.
Holding a tender
He added: the documents of work packages and tenders of seven provinces which are considered for pilot have been completed and last week we had 7 tender packages for the implementation of the project as a pilot and test in seven provinces and the winners of the project implementation were in Tehran, East Azarbaijan and Kerman provinces. , Razavi Khorasan, Hamadan, Mazandaran and Central Province were identified.
The CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company stated: We will start the trial implementation of various technologies and meters in these seven provinces, and the output results will help the National Gas Company of Iran to make the optimal choice for the entire country.
3 main bases of intelligentizing meters
Noshadi continued: The smart gas meter plan has three main bases: first, the measuring element which is the smart meter, second, the information transmission platform which is the internet, and third, there is another technology, system and structure for the areas where we do not have the internet, which is called Laura. . God willing, the optimal option based on the results will be selected for the implementation of the intelligentization plan and gas consumption management of the entire country.
They are thirsty for the last drink
In response to the mechanism of selecting these seven provinces to start implementing the project, he said: We are starting the work based on the fact that “they are thirsty for the last water supply” from cold regions where gas consumption is high. Basically, where the consumption is low, smartening may not be economical at all. Smarting is based on the transfer of meter manufacturing technology, communication technology and providing a new space and market for domestication, for this reason, the provinces that we considered for the trial implementation are among the cold climates.
All costs of the pilot phase are with National Gas Company of Iran
The CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company announced: All costs in the trial implementation stages are with Iran National Gas Company; Because we are studying and we may put communication technology somewhere that is not part of the final program, but the output of the pilot studies will determine whether it is better for investors to spend from their own savings and take their income from their savings or not.
Noshadi continued: If the output of the pilot studies only gives us management tools, the National Gas Company will announce to the subscribers to come and change the meters by the management of the National Gas Company. There may be conditions such as discounts on gas prices, etc., which will be decided and determined in the future. Now the main subject we are studying is about the financial model, we are also producing another document for investment.
Cooperation of the Ministry of Oil with 3 other organizations
He stated that the smart gas meter plan should be implemented with the joint cooperation of the Ministry of Petroleum, the National Iranian Gas Company, the Non-Active Defense Organization, the Supreme Council of Cyber ​​Space and the Strategic Management Center of EFTA, and said: Since the exchange of information is carried out on the basis of internet networks, security must be ensured. It is necessary to provide for the transfer of information, both in order to prevent the abuse of enemies and in terms of hacking and penetration. We have had many meetings so far, the security architecture plans are going through the final stages. For the main plan, there is not much need for this issue in the implementation of the pilot plan, but we will finalize the security architecture plan with the consensus of these groups, and according to that plan, the main implementation will begin.
