The number of illegal miners discovered by in the country has increased fivefold

According to Energy Press, citing the Ministry of Energy, this number of miners was discovered and seized based on public reports, the efforts of security and law enforcement agents, and the continuous follow-up of colleagues working in the country’s electricity industry.
The majority of discoveries during this period were in the provinces of Tehran, Razavi Khorasan, East Azerbaijan, and Hormozgan.
According to the report, so far, 64,851 discovered miners have been destroyed by the Organization for the Collection and Sale of Property, and the work process for other discovered miners is underway.
