The Ministry of Oil’s special look at the private sector with petrochemical arbitration

According to Energy Press, in an interview with Shana reporter, Kamil Pourziai emphasized the importance of the National Petrochemical Industries Company’s arbitration in pricing ancillary services (utilities), which also brings transparency, and stated: “The rational and expert determination of the prices of ancillary services by the National Petrochemical Industries Company not only provides investors with confidence, but also increases the willingness to invest.”

He considered the determination of utility pricing after a few years as confirmation of the Ministry of Oil’s special view of the private sector and stated: “This work should have been done before reaching a critical point and numerous complaints and requests from the General Inspection Organization of the country.”

The CEO of Kharg Petrochemical, stating that the correct implementation of this decision creates a unified approach and reduces the risk of development projects, said: “Therefore, this measure can be considered a new approach to hearing the voice of the private sector.”
