The installation of the second jacket in Phase 11 of South Pars has been completed
The SPD11A phase 11 South Pars jacket has been successfully installed and is ready to start drilling operations for 15 wells in this border phase. This project showcases Iran's national engineering capabilities and project management.

According to Energy Press, Phase 11 of the South Pars field is one of the most strategic and critical phases of the shared South Pars field, whose development has been delayed for over 20 years.

In recent years, the development of this phase by has been put on the agenda, and official statistics on gas production from this phase show that its cumulative production has 10 billion cubic meters this.

Previously, the SPD11B platform had been installed at site of this border phase, and operations for its wells had begun one one. So far, a large number of wells from the first platform ( platform) of this field have come. However, the development plan for 11 includes another platform called11A, which has a jacket weighing 2.2 tons and has been on its way to the Phase 11 site in the heart of the Persian since September.

The CEO ofpars Group announced today the completion of installation operations of this jacket. Hamiderza Taghavi, CEO of Petropars Group, announced the installation of the11A jacket and stated: “The completion of the Phase 11 development project’s jacket installation stage is the of the unity, cohesion, and expertise of the colleagues in the Petro Group”; continuous and coordinated cooperation with Oil and Gas Company, precise planning and joint supervision of equipment preparation processes the conditions for the safe installation of jackets, which is an indicator of capabilities of Iranian engineering and project management.
