According to Energy Press, Farhad Tahmasebi referred to the campaign to reduce the ambient temperature by 2 degrees and stated: “Given the conditions facing the country, we must be more careful in our gas and electricity consumption, and as a responsible citizen, we must help other compatriots keep their homes warm by observing our consumption patterns.” He added: “We must have a different perspective on this sector in terms of energy consumption and be able to help develop infrastructure in the country by preventing energy waste.” The member of the Industries and Mines Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: “These days, excessive energy consumption has put a lot of pressure on the country’s electricity network, so managing and reducing energy consumption can help the sustainability of the country’s electricity network.”
