According to Energy Press, citing the Iranian Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company, Mehrdad Haghighian, referring to the continuous monitoring and supervision of the line maintenance units on the implementation process of the project to construct a 30-inch national pipeline for the transport of sour crude oil from Sabzab to Rey, said: This project is in the protected area of the Khuzestan region and the distance between the Shahid Zanganeh Andimeshk (Sabzab) oil transfer center and the Shohada Tangfani oil transfer center in the Lorestan region, with a length of 102 kilometers, and its stages are being implemented.
He continued: Another national project in the field of the oil transfer industry is the construction of a 125-kilometer 20-inch Ahvaz-Sabzab product pipeline, which, given its proximity to other oil transfer pipelines, experts in the Khuzestan region are closely monitoring the implementation of drilling and pipe-laying operations in sensitive points such as the river bed.
The director of the Khuzestan Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company added: “Supervising the implementation of the plan to construct a 56-inch diameter gas pipeline at the intersection with active oil transmission pipelines at kilometer 28 of the Pashminezar-Andimeshk road is among other valuable activities of the Khuzestan region’s technical colleagues, especially the line maintenance unit, so that there is no disruption to the process of sustainable and safe transmission of petroleum products.”
