The CEO of Tehran Oil Refining Company announced the launch of the first phase of the gasoline production unit of this complex by the end of the year and said: This unit is now more than 77% physically advanced and we hope to be operational by July 2025.

According to Energy Press, Mohsen Iranzad, in the 12th review meeting of the latest status of product quality plans with a priority to reduce fuel oil, which was held in the presence of a group of CEOs of refining companies hosted by Tehran Oil Refinery, presented a report on the development plans of this refinery and explained: During the past few months, effective measures have been taken to complete the existing projects and enter the heating oil project.
He pointed out that the organizational maturity of the Tehran oil refinery is taking shape and in 2023, with the purchase of Arak Petrochemical shares, we will become a petrochemical unit, adding: We hope to fulfill the leadership’s orders to prevent crude sales in the coming years.

The CEO of Tehran Oil Refinery stated that we implemented the quality improvement plan based on Isfahan Oil Refinery and said: It is appreciative that our colleagues at Isfahan Oil Refinery provided us with all the basic documents and details of this plan.

Iranzad clarified: We have obtained the template of this project with some minor changes in the quality improvement plan of Isfahan Oil Refinery and the permission of the board of directors. The technical aspects of the 6 final contractors were reviewed by the Technical Transactions Commission.

He said: We also obtained a permission to leave the formalities to carry out the project in the form of a consortium with two reputable companies, which will be finalized next week in the meeting of the board of directors and the contractor will be selected within the next month.

The CEO of Tehran Oil Refinery emphasized: In the Gasoline Project (ccr) with the transformation of the Board of Directors, the problems of the project were fully identified and this project has made more than 77% physical progress with 9% progress since April this year.
