According to Energy Press, based on the findings of the September survey of Capital Opinion Center, which was conducted nationwide and in accordance with scientific standards, 89.9 percent of citizens stated that they faced a power outage in the summer season of 2024.
These people were asked how many power outages they had on average during the week, and 36.2% of them said that they did not have electricity for more than 10 hours during the week; 15.5% of them had power outages between 7 and 10 hours, 18.7% of them experienced power outages of 4 to 6 hours, 22.8% stated that they were deprived of electricity between 1 and 3 hours, and less than 7% They have had electricity outages for less than an hour a week.
10.1 percent of the respondents to this survey also said that they never encountered a power outage this summer.
Most of the citizens who said that their electricity was cut off in the summer season, which includes 75.5% of the survey participants, in response to the question where they experienced the most power cuts, said their own home and 22.8% said that with a power cut in They faced their workplace and 1.7% chose public places.
These people were asked about the problems and effects of the lack of electricity on their work, education and life, and 32.2% of them stated in one word that the power cut has reduced their quality of life.
In response to this question, 29.2% said that they faced the problem of breakdown of electrical equipment, 7.3% considered power outages to be the cause of health and medical problems, 18.6% said that it had a negative effect on work and productivity, and 12.7% The percentage of the respondents also said that there was no problem for them due to the power cut.
66.7% of the citizens who were faced with a power outage last summer, in response to the question of how much this issue damaged their business or caused a disruption in it, said that they saw disruption in people’s business to a great extent. They have been in their living area.
28.7% chose few and very few options in response to this question, and 2.4% said that they did not see any disruption in people’s business due to the power outage in their area.
