The country’s gas consumption reached 589 million cubic meters

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Hassan Mousavi stated that 589 million cubic meters of natural gas were consumed yesterday (March 24) in the domestic, commercial and small industries sectors, and said: The amount of gas consumption in this sector has increased by 11 percent compared to the same day last year.
He continued: 863 million cubic meters of natural gas were delivered to the national network yesterday, of which 68 percent was allocated to the domestic, commercial and small industries sectors.
After the cold weather and the forecast of a decrease in temperature, President Masoud Pezzekian, Minister of Oil Mohsen Paknejad and a group of country officials invited people to participate in the “2 degrees below” campaign by publishing visual or written messages with the aim of efficient consumption and providing winter fuel.
