The country’s daily gas production reached 872 million cubic meters

According to Energy Press, Saeed Tavakoli, explaining a brief history of the formation of the gas industry in the country, stated: The reason why we consider gas to be a driver of development and a factor in creating security in the country is that our approach to gas since the Islamic Revolution and especially after the imposed war has been that gas is a factor in the country’s economic growth and has led to the prosperity of life and development of the country and has brought security and comfort. This approach has led to the use of gas in various parts of the country to replace oil with the aim of spreading justice and increasing the country’s foreign exchange earnings. Emphasizing that the record for gas production in the country has been broken four times since the beginning of the 14th government, Tavakoli stated: Currently, more than 872 million cubic meters of gas are produced and injected into the network daily, and this is while, with the cooperation and management and expert decisions, we have been operating and providing services in many parts of the network for a long time above the existing capacity of the facilities.
