The beginning of the national plan to replace low efficiency heaters in Golestan

According to Energy Press, according to the National Gas Company of Iran, Walialeh Dini said on Sunday (December 30) in a meeting with the CEO and a group of managers and experts of Golestan Gas Company: The implementation of the national plan to replace low-efficiency heaters with optimal heaters with high efficiency and grade A has started in the first phase with the installation of 1,000 heaters in Golestan province.
He stated that Golestan province will start implementing this national plan along with other provinces of the country, and added: Each of these heaters saves about 466 cubic meters of gas and optimizes energy consumption annually. In the first phase, one thousand optimal heaters will be installed with the investment of domestic producers and under the supervision of Iran National Gas Company, Iran Gas Trading Company and provincial gas companies.
Referring to the existence of more than 24 million household heaters in the country, CEO of Iran Gas Trading Company said: a significant part of these heaters have low efficiency. Substitution of optimal heaters increases efficiency to more than 85%, reduces energy wastage, and significantly saves gas consumption.
Supply of saved gas in the stock market
Reminding that the implementation of this annual plan will result in significant savings in the country’s gas consumption, which will enable its use in the industry sector and create added value, Dini clarified: Investors participating in this plan will offer the achieved savings in the form of defined mechanisms in the stock market.
