The 13th government denied the oil discounts!
A member of the parliament's energy commission believes that at the end of the 13th government, there was not enough gasoline storage intentionally or unintentionally, and this action caused the country to face a crisis at the beginning of the 14th government.

According to the exclusive report of “Energy Press”, Mustafa Nakhai, a member of the parliament’s energy commission, said in an exclusive interview with “Energy Press” about the high discounts given to oil buyers in the 13th government: “In the conditions of sanctions, we have to give discounts to oil buyers in order to circumvent the sanctions.” The truth that was denied in the previous government.
The member of the Energy Commission of the 11th and 12th parliaments added: This issue cannot be hidden and it is an undeniable fact that we have to use the discount mechanism for oil buyers under sanctions.
He continued: The problem that existed in a number of previous statesmen was that despite the numerous problems caused by internal mismanagement, which of course were exacerbated by sanctions, they denied this fact and portrayed the situation to the people in a way that was impossible. It was belief. People used to ask which Iran are you talking about? What was palpable to the society was vastly different from the conditions that the gentlemen expressed.
Nakhai added: This behavior was written at the feet of the 13th government and led to distrust of the people who are social assets.
He also stated: One of the main reasons for the people’s loss of trust in the officials is that they deliberately announce wrong statistics or give information to the people that is different from what is in the society, which happened in the previous government.
The representative of the people of Nahbandan in the 12th parliament said about the disruption in oil and gas storage: “The shortage of oil and gas in the country is an undeniable fact, and for the past 3 or 4 years we have been facing a shortage of gasoline, and this shortage is increasing year by year.” The incident that happened last year was also repeated.
He further reminded: This year, at the peak of consumption, we had a deficit of 15 million liters of gasoline per day. It means that we have used all the internal capacity and in this case we have to import gasoline to some extent.
