Tehran became the most consuming city in the use of gas
The Dispatching Manager of the National Gas Company of Iran stated that 746 million cubic meters of natural gas were consumed in the country in the last 24 hours, and announced a 73% increase in the delivery of gas to the country's power plants on this day.

According to Energy Press report, Saeed Aqli, referring to the country’s natural gas consumption, explained: Natural gas consumption in the past 24 hours and with the previous decrease in temperature in most parts of the country and snowfall and rain, in the domestic, commercial and non-major industries 534 million cubic meters, major industries were 106 million cubic meters and power plants were 106 million cubic meters.

Referring to the 73% increase in gas delivery to the country’s power plants on this day compared to the same period last year, he clarified: gas supply to major industries has also increased by 28%.

Emphasizing the necessity of saving natural gas by all subscribers, the director of dispatching of the National Gas Company of Iran said: Tehran, Khorasan Razavi and Isfahan were respectively the most consuming provinces of the country in the last 24 hours, and Hormozgan, Sistan and Baluchistan and Bushehr were also the least consuming natural gas subscribers.

In the end, Aqli announced the condition for a smooth passage of the upcoming winter by managing gas consumption in all sectors and stated: We ask all our compatriots to follow simple tips such as wearing warm clothes, using thick curtains in homes, adjusting the temperature of heating devices and using them correctly. From heating devices in commercial, agricultural and industrial sectors and energy consumption management, help to maintain the stable flow of gas in all sectors in all parts of the country.
