Tavakoli: Gas supply this year is better than last year/ Gas injection and storage increased

According to Energy Press, Saeed Tavakoli told reporters today (Monday, November 1) on the sidelines of the “Development of Knowledge-Based Cooperation” event about the company’s readiness for the cold season: “There are currently no restrictions on gas supply to industries, power plants, and the domestic sector.” Industrial gas contracts are also adjusted to the needs of consumption and in time periods of four to eight months.
He stated that fortunately, the gas supply situation is better in all aspects compared to last year and the amount of gas injected into the network has increased significantly. He added: “All major repairs have been completed on time and the storage tanks are also in good condition with a 16 percent increase compared to last year.”
Continuing gas exports to Iraq
Referring to the complete cooperation and coordination between different government departments, the CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company stated: “With the integrated management of the Ministry of Oil and close interaction with the Ministry of Interior, a joint working group has been formed to coordinate the sustainable supply of gas during the cold season, and the atmosphere of cooperation between the executive agencies is very positive.”
