The spokesman for the Parliament's Energy Commission announced: "The launch of the second tier of the central processing unit of the South Azadegan Joint Field is an effective measure to compensate for the backlog, increase oil production, and neutralize sanctions in the current situation in the country."
The turning point of this period is the launch of the center's first processing row (Row C) with a capacity of 80,000 barrels per day, which sends the produced oil directly to the West Karun pipeline.
The Deputy CEO of the National Iranian Drilling Company for Drilling Projects said: "With the cooperation and synergy between the company's specialists and the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (METEN), the implementation of the drilling project of 10 wells in the South Azadegan oil field has reached its final stage, and the project was completely handed over to the employer for operation after being put into operation."
The director of drilling projects in the West Karun oil fields at the National Iranian Drilling Company said: "The cumulative progress of the 10-well drilling project in the South Azadegan joint oil field has exceeded 90 percent."
