A knowledge-based company has succeeded in building the first Iranian 200-megawatt rotor weighing 53 tons, which is considered a milestone in the localization of the country's power plant equipment and eliminates dependence on the supply of exclusive foreign parts.

The director of the National Oil Products Distribution Company of Lorestan region said: In order to eliminate refueling by oil tankers, reduce fuel transportation costs and maintain fuel supply to power plants in the cold seasons of the year, Khorram Abad combined cycle power plant will be connected to Lorestan oil products transportation pipelines.
