The DM Water Unit Optimization Project of the South Pars Second Refinery resulted in complete self-sufficiency in industrial water supply by increasing the desalination capacity by 60% and reducing energy consumption by 3%.

The Director of Coordination and Supervision of Production at the National Iranian Gas Company announced the early start of major repairs to the country's refineries, saying the operation will be completed by October. This issue has always been associated with challenges regarding the supply of electricity to power plants due to energy imbalances and the refineries' need for gas.

Persian Gulf Holding, with its massive $2 billion plan to build a 5,000-megawatt solar power plant, is seeking self-sufficiency in energy supply and reducing dependence and pressure on the national grid.

A member of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly considered that eliminating the energy imbalance requires comprehensive cooperation and said: "The efforts of the National Iranian Gas Company in supplying gas to all parts of the country last winter should be a model for other organizations."

Reliable statistics show that over the past decade, the share of investment in renewable energies has increased from 33% to more than 65%, while the attractiveness of investing in oil projects has decreased significantly.

Stating that the Ministry of Energy can be a successful model for realizing the slogan of national unity, the Minister of Energy stated: "Economic reform of the water and electricity industry is one of the main tools for solving existing problems in the water and electricity industry and eliminating imbalances."

The Assistant Minister of Oil for Energy Optimization said: "Today, we are facing a wrong competition between energy production and consumption in the country, and this trend must be stopped."

The First Vice President said at the first meeting of the "Regional Energy Trade Steering Committee": "The Islamic Republic of Iran must become the regional energy trade center, and achieving this goal is of great importance to the 14th government and is part of our strategies that we are pursuing seriously."

The Deputy Chairman of the Industries and Mines Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly referred to the holding of the third meeting of the special headquarters for energy imbalance management and said: "In this meeting, issues such as fuel smuggling, electricity theft, and problems resulting from the lack of an energy measurement unit were examined."
