The CEO of Tehran Sewage Company announced the production of diesel and black carbon from the dewatered sludge in the process of wastewater treatment of the capital's treatment plants for the first time in Iran and said: We hope to be able to start production of these products this year.

The spokesman of the country's petrol stations association said: In all provinces, especially the border provinces and those close to the border, we see long queues to receive diesel in front of the stations, which causes many problems.

The scheme of allocating diesel quota based on the distance between the origin and the destination and in accordance with the bill of lading will be implemented only at the fuel supply stations located on the route on a trial basis from June.
