The Foreign Ministry spokesman announced: "Iran has always emphasized constructive cooperation with the Kuwaiti government in the field of energy, especially regarding the Arash gas field and the joint exploitation of its resources, based on bilateral negotiations and the history of previous talks."

Kanani said: Our position regarding the Arash gas field is the same as the usual position that we have announced many times. The inalienable rights of any country will not be lost due to the non-legal and non-technical comments of another country.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran said: Regarding the Arash gas field, we announced that it is a technical issue and will be followed in the framework of the experts' discussions.

A member of the Parliament's Energy Commission said: First, the "border" political debate about this gas field should be determined by the diplomacy apparatus through negotiations, then we should seek to develop it regarding territorial waters.
