Stopping the increase in electricity costs for industrial subscribers
The Deputy Secretary of the Business Support Committee said: "In the meeting of this committee, the Ministry of Energy reviewed the increase in electricity costs for industrial subscribers and decided to suspend the Ministry of Energy's circular in this regard."

According to Energy Press, members of the Business Support Committee reviewed the Ministry of Energy’s increase in electricity costs for industrial subscribers in its second meeting. Regarding the outcome of the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Business Support Committee said: “In issuing the circular to increase the electricity costs for industrial subscribers, Articles 24 and 30 of the Law on Continuous Improvement of the Business Environment and its executive regulations were not taken into account. On the other hand, the retroactive nature of the circular also has a legal flaw. In these circumstances, the rights of economic activists are violated and it has economic and social consequences for businesses. Keyvan Kashfi said: “Ignoring Article 25 of the Law on Continuous Improvement of the Business Environment and cutting off electricity to manufacturing industries causes great material losses and weakens the country’s industry. On the other hand, charging transit fees for subscribers brings great losses and harms. Therefore, various aspects of the issue were examined in this meeting, and finally, the ruling of the Administrative Court of Justice, which emphasized the annulment of this circular, was taken into account.” The Deputy Secretary of the Dialogue Council and the Business Support Committee continued, regarding the legal flaws in the Ministry of Energy’s circular on increasing electricity costs for industrial subscribers, saying: “The retroactive nature of the decree, the lack of attention to the time of the circular’s announcement, its illogicality, the issue of industry classification and transit rights are among the main flaws in this decree, which is being objected to by economic activists across the country.”
