Stabilizing production of 55,000 barrels of crude oil with technical reforms at Karun Company

According to Energy Press, citing Karun Oil and Gas Exploitation Company, Hassan Shahroui, CEO of Karun Oil and Gas Exploitation Company, explained the details of these measures: “By implementing process reforms in the company’s facilities, crude oil production was stabilized at 55,000 barrels per day and an increase in production of 3,000 barrels per day was also achieved. These measures have been carried out by relying on domestic capacity and developing operational infrastructure. He said: “With the construction of a new 24-inch pipeline to transfer salt oil from Ahvaz exploitation unit number 1 to the centralized desalination unit, it became possible to completely separate Mansouri Bangestan oil from Ahvaz 1 Asmari oil. This measure, while improving the quality of crude oil, made it possible to carry out major repairs in the Mansouri desalination unit without reducing production.”
