South Pars Third Refinery Ready to Support Gas Production in the Cold Season

According to Energy Press, citing the South Pars Gas Complex Company, Sohrab Mazarei said, referring to the timely repairs and preventive measures taken in the past months: All operational compressors of the refinery are in stable condition and are ready to support gas production in the cold season.
He continued: With the efforts of domestic experts and the implementation of regular maintenance programs, the performance of various units, including gas production, condensate and by-products, is in optimal conditions.
The head of maintenance of the third refinery of the South Pars Gas Complex stated that all six compressors of the refinery’s refrigeration unit, which has a direct role in the production of by-products, including ethane and LPG, are active and operational, adding: Two compressors of this unit are also now in operation after complete repairs and play an important role in reducing environmental pollutants.
