South Pars delivers 157 billion cubic meters of gas to the country’s national grid
The CEO of the South Pars Gas Complex, emphasizing the need to manage consumption and for compatriots to join the "2 degrees below" campaign in the country, said: "Since the beginning of this year, more than 157.3 billion cubic meters of gas have been sent from all the refineries of the South Pars Gas Complex to the national pipeline."
According to Energy Press, citing South Pars Gas Complex Company, Gholam Abbas Hosseini stated that in the past eight months, we have delivered more than 157 billion cubic meters of gas to national pipelines, and stated: This production amount has increased by 2 percent compared to last year since the beginning of this year. He pointed out that 75 percent of the country’s energy portfolio is gas and 70 percent of it is produced in the South Pars Gas Complex, and continued: The daily gas production of the South Pars Gas Complex is 582 million cubic meters per day, this figure has increased to 591 million standard cubic meters per day due to the decrease in air temperature and the increase in gas consumption in the country.
