The representative of the people of Khuzestan in the parliament said about the rumor of the increase in the price of gasoline, that experience has shown that many times some rumors are strongly denied by the government, but it is not long before the same rumor is implemented in the society.
According to the reporter of Energy Press, in the last few weeks, there have been many rumors about the high price of gasoline, which the government officials have denied, but people are still worried about this issue. Mojtaba Mahfozi a member of the 11th parliament, in an interview with “Energy Press” in response to rumors about the increase in the price of gasoline, said: Currently, none of the government officials have confirmed the issue of the increase in the price of fuel and energy carriers, and they are strongly denying this issue. are.

The representative of the people of Khuzestan in the parliament continued: Experience has shown that many times some rumors are strongly denied by the government, but nothing happens that the same rumor comes true. But as far as I know, no issue has been announced in the Parliament and the Energy Commission regarding the increase in the price of energy carriers, especially gasoline.

Mahfozi clarified: If a decision to increase the price of energy carriers, especially gasoline, is made in the government and comes to the parliament, I assure the people of Iran that the parliament will not stand for any increase in the price of gasoline and with this issue will not agree.

In response to the fact that in the previous government this decision did not come to the parliament and it was taken in the meeting of the heads of forces and the government implemented it overnight, he said: If a decision to increase the price of energy carriers and especially gasoline is taken outside the parliament. And to implement it without sending it to the parliament is another matter and it is not within our authority. But if such a decision comes to the parliament, the parliament will not make this happen.

The representative of the people of Khuzestan also emphasized: But if this proposal comes to the parliament, the parliament will not go along with it, and I assure our beloved nation that this will not happen and there is no need to worry, because there wasn’t an increase in the price of gasoline in the seventh development plan.
