As you know, we are facing an energy imbalance in the country. If we want to have uninterrupted access to energy in the field of energy security, policymakers must definitely consider energy security with environmental considerations so that the output of those policies is in a way that provides energy but not at a price that harms the environment and harms people’s health in the medium and long term. Therefore, policymakers must have a comprehensive view in the energy security document.
The Vice President emphasized: The need for integrated governance in industry, energy, and the environment must be emphasized. Of course, the supportive policies of governments in the past decades to maintain the level of industrial production at any cost have caused an accumulation of issues and problems in the environmental field. Policies that have intensified pollutants in the field of energy production, including air pollution. The head of the Environmental Protection Organization, emphasizing that we need to review the relevant policies and integrated governance in this field, said: The next issue is about energy imbalance, the effects of which on the environment have intensified air pollution. When industries turn to using heavy fuels such as fuel oil, they cause polluting gases in the air.
