Signing of three contracts and three research agreements to strengthen indigenous technologies in the refining industry
Three contracts and three research and technological agreements were signed between refining companies and research institutes and universities in the country with the aim of maximizing the use of domestic capacities in the refining industry.

According to Energy Press, a series of research and technological contracts and agreements in the refining industry were signed today (Wednesday, December 16) at the ceremony to celebrate Research Week at the National Iranian Petroleum Refining and Distribution Company.
The contract for “Completion and Construction of a Pilot for Evaluation of the Performance of Hydrocracking Unit Catalysts on a Semi-Industrial Scale” was signed between Mehdi Dejhosseini, Director of Research and Technology at the National Iranian Petroleum Refining and Distribution Company, and Azim Kalantari-Asl, Director of the Petroleum Industry Research Institute, and the contract for “Development of IPS Standards to Create 10 National Standards” was signed between Mehdi Dejhosseini, Director of Research and Technology at the National Iranian Petroleum Refining and Distribution Company, and Majid Javanmard, Director of the Standards Research Institute.
In addition, a contract to “investigate methods for using smart seals required by the National Iranian Petroleum Distribution Company, select the best option, build a prototype, and develop it” was signed between Ali Asghar Abbasi, Deputy CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Distribution Company, and Masoud Sabaei, Deputy Director of Research and Technology at Amirkabir University of Technology.
