Signing of a new gas memorandum between Iran and Turkmenistan

According to Energy Press, according to the presidential information base, the document on the development of gas cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan was issued today (Wednesday, August 28) in the presence of Masoud Pezeshkian and Gurbanguly Berdimohamedov and Mohsen Paknejad, Minister of Oil, between Majid Chegani, CEO of the National Gas Company. Iran and Batir Amanov, the head of Turkmengaz state company, were signed.
In the presence of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the national leader of Turkmenistan, the officials of Iran and Turkmenistan also signed three joint cooperation documents in the fields of customs, diplomatic cooperation and sisterhood of the two ports of Amirabad and Turkmenbashi.
Cooperation program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Iran and Turkmenistan from 1403 to 1405 signed by Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Rashid Mardov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, memorandum of understanding on the sisterhood of Amirabad and Turkmenbashi ports signed by Farzaneh Sadeq Malvajard, Minister of Roads and Urban Development and Mohammad Khan, CEO The Turkmenistan company and the joint action plan on deepening and developing customs cooperation between the two countries were the three documents signed between the two countries from 2024 to 2026.
