Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Southern Oil-Prone Areas and the Khatam al-Anbiya Base
According to Energy Press, the National Southern Oilfields Company (NSOC) said that the MoU was signed between Ebrahim Paroun, CEO of the company, and Brigadier General Abdolreza Abedzadeh, Commander of the Khatam Al-Anbia Construction Headquarters, with the aim of developing technology, meeting needs, monitoring new technologies, and solving existing challenges in the ICT field.
At the signing ceremony of the MoU, the CEO of the National Southern Oilfields Company (NSOC) referred to the scope of the company’s functional area as the largest oil producing company and a supplier of feedstock to a large number of petrochemical plants and refineries and stated: “Strengthening and developing ICT infrastructure is one of the important priorities of the Southern Oilfields, which has a great impact on improving the organization’s performance.”
Emphasizing the use of new technologies (ICT) in the oil-rich regions of the south, Parman pointed out the role of the axes of this memorandum with the aim of monitoring these technologies and solving existing challenges in the ICT field, and stated: “We hope that in the future we will be able to have close and useful cooperation for the development of this field.”
