Significant growth in drilling operations in the oil-rich areas of the south; 40 wells in four months

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Drilling Company, Hamidreza Shafiei Makvand stated: Of the total number of wells drilled, which is 17 more than the same period last year, 11 are development-descriptive wells and 37 are supplementary repair wells.
He added: 40 of these wells were drilled in the operational area of the National Southern Oilfields Company, two in the Offshore Oil Company, two in the Oil Engineering and Development Company, one in the Central Oil Company, and three in the form of a drilling project.
The Deputy CEO of the National Iranian Drilling Company, expressing gratitude to the group of operational colleagues who are working hard day and night to realize the oil industry’s plans in the extreme heat, stated that the drilling area during this period was 41,573 meters and said: 18 drilling rigs out of the company’s 64 active drilling rigs are currently being moved to operational positions.
