Shakeri: More than 80 percent of first-time production projects have been implemented with the support of the Ministry of Oil

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Oil Company, Omid Shakeri today (Tuesday, January 29) at the first specialized meeting on the development of domestic production in the oil industry, emphasizing that the issue of domestic production has always been one of the main programs of the country, stated: The Supreme Leader also emphasizes that government sectors must remove obstacles facing the private sector, and this approach has always been among the main policies of the Ministry of Oil.
Pointing out that for first-time production, internal instructions have been issued to facilitate the entry of producers into the Authorized Suppliers List (AVL) and provide them with the necessary support, he added: More than 80 percent of the country’s first-time production projects have been implemented with the support of the Ministry of Oil.
Explaining the difficulties of operating in the industry today, Shakeri stated: For first-time producers, 5 trillion tomans of credit has been provided through LC rials and product insurance through the Technology and Research Fund so that employers can use these products with confidence.
Focus on investment and transparent planning
Seyed Dadosh Hashemi Gol Safidi, head of the construction and supply management of the National Iranian Oil Company, also emphasized the importance of economic growth in this meeting and said: “So far, six comprehensive development plans have been completed and we are currently implementing the seventh plan, but to increase economic growth with limited resources, we need to change our attitude and focus on investment.”
