Sanctions on Iran have raised the price of oil in the global market

On Friday, each barrel of Brent crude oil was sold at $65.88, an increase of $1.82; this is the highest price in the past 10 days.
According to Energy Press, the US announced new sanctions yesterday against ships carrying Iranian oil, causing concerns about disruptions in oil supplies in the Middle East.

Iran, with a daily production of approximately 3.2 million barrels, is the fourth-largest oil producer in the world.
Despite the sanctions, Iran remains one of the top oil exporters to China and the first exporter of oil by sea to the country.
According to British Energy Institute data, Iran’s and condensate production has reached .1 million barrels, breaking its46-year-old record since the revolution.
