Sabalan petrochemical production increases by 110 thousand tons annually

According to Energy Press, today (Monday) at the “Value Chain Development” specialized meeting on the second day of the 15th International Conference of the Iranian Petrochemical Industry, Reza Karimi stated about the evaluation of the possibility of injecting carbon dioxide into the methanol synthesis reactor of the factory with the ART reactor to increase methanol production. Sablan Petrochemical is a pioneer in implementing this plan, other methanol companies can also benefit from it.
He added: The implementation of this environmental plan will increase the methanol production of this company from 208 tons per hour to 222 tons per hour.
The CEO of Sablan Petrochemical Industries Company continued by referring to various experiments in the implementation studies of this project: carbon dioxide injection in this project with and without a synthesis reactor does not have a very different temperature effect.
