Russia to build 8 nuclear power plants in Iran

According to Energy Press, the spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament said: The head of the Atomic Energy Organization stated that we have an agreement with Russia to build 8 power plants in Iran, 4 of which will be in Bushehr.
Referring to today’s visit by members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament to the Tehran Reactor and the Radiopharmaceutical Production Complex, Ebrahim Rezaei said: This morning, members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly visited various departments of the Atomic Energy Organization, including the Tehran Research Reactor and the Radiopharmaceutical Production Complex at the organization’s premises.
He explained: During this visit, members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission were informed about the latest measures, work processes and developments in this area.
Rezaei continued: Mr. Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization, while presenting a report on the activities, measures and programs of this organization, provided explanations about the stages of construction and construction of Units 2 and 3 of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, and stated that the entire construction of these two units was carried out by Iranian companies.
He stated: “The head of the Atomic Energy Organization said that we have an agreement with Russia to build 8 power plants in Iran, 4 of which will be in Bushehr.”
